Frequently Asked Questions
Is full thermal equipment required?
Highly recommended. It can be very cold in Poland at times. Thermal layers, fleece, and a wind/rainproof jacket make the difference.
How many pairs of socks/gloves should I take?
Thermal socks for every day (+ backup pairs), and at least one quality pair of gloves. For those who suffer from cold – bring an extra pair.
Is a flashlight required?
Yes. A convenient headlamp for evening hours/ceremonies/traffic in dark areas. A powerful flashlight can be combined.
Where to keep passport and money?
A money belt/neck pouch with RFID protection, and a small organizer for documents are recommended.
Can you manage with one bag?
A suitcase/trolley is recommended for travel and a daily backpack for sightseeing. It is important that the back is comfortable, with internal division and support.
